Our eBuilt Portfolio

Our eBuilt portfolio includes two energy-efficient home options:

  • eBuilt homes, our new Clayton Built® standard of energy efficiency, are built to ENERGY STAR® ready standards in most parts of the country. eBuilt homes can help homeowners save up to 30% on annual energy bills1.

  • Customers can save even more with an eBuilt Plus home. Constructed to the US Department of Energy’s Zero Energy Ready Home™ standards, an eBuilt Plus home can help save up to 50% on annual energy bills1. And since they’re solar ready, homeowners can add a renewable energy system for even more savings.

1 Energy savings are projected using NREL® BEopt™ to estimate annual electrical energy consumption of a home built to ENERGY STAR® Version 3.0 requirements and/or DOE Zero Energy Ready Home™ guidelines compared to the same home built to base HUD Manufactured Home standards in select cities nationwide.

2 Net zero is based on electrical energy consumption using NREL® BEopt™ to estimate annual electrical energy consumption and NREL PVWatts Calculator to estimate the annual solar production on homes built with energy-efficient features and assumes that the home is placed in a location that optimizes the solar features.

Base features for eBuilt homes were updated on September 8, 2025. Refrigerator and dishwasher are optional in some home models. Ask your home center for more information.
